Choose from the following projects:
Project 1: Loop Scarf or Pillowcase
Project 2: Fabric basket or hot water bottle case
The course charges do not include materials/fabric.
For the projects you will need:
For the Pillowcase: 45cm cotton woven fabric with with a medium to stiff quality, at least 100cm wide.
For the Loop Scarf: 30-40cm lightweight or medium weight cotton woven fabric, at least 150cm wide, or 3 fat quarters
For the fabric basket: 2 different cotton woven fabrics each 25 cm and 25 cm fusible interfacing (Vlieseline H630)
For the Hot water bottle case: 2 different cotton woven fabrics, each 30-40 cm wide, depending on pattern direction, and 30cm fusible interfacing (Vlieseline H630).
For all projects, you will need matching threads.
For our sewing courses you will need the following supplies:
Fabric pen (washable)
If you do not have any sewing supplies, you can purchase them at Textilwerkstatt. Participants of this course will receive a 10% discount on the above listed supplies.
In the bright and friendly atmosphere of Textilwerkstatt, we will sew in small groups of four participants. The booking of this course is without cancellation and is not able to be rescheduled. Here you can view the AGB. Please choose at booking if you will be bringing your own sewing machine with, or if you would like to use one of the machines available at Textilwerkstatt.
Course price includes 19% sales tax (MwSt).

Your instructor for this course is Krisa. She is originally from Wisconsin in the USA and has been living in Germany for four years. She started sewing quilts and bags at the age of twelve and decided to turn her love of sewing and fashion into a career by studying fashion design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is now happily passing along her sewing knowledge in her native language to those wanting to learn or improve on their skills.
